SAINT TIME
This story is about three young men who are dreaming about their home in moments of down time. They spend thousands hours getting through daily life with the support of friendships, trying to find any purposes for work and life on front, looking for belief, calmness and trust. “The only way to prevent a psychological breakdown in these stressful situations was the friendship between soldiers” said author Dian Hanson looking through rare photographs of naked soldiers and marines from the Second World War which were published in "My Buddy. World War ii" book. Thus, our main idea was to represent the routine life and visualize the phenomena of escapism, save the aesthetic of post war/ military front homecoming.
We were inspired by the book "My Buddy. World War ii" which was published by Taschen.
